Daniel selected for International Rising Star program

Daniel Erickson will represent the Australian Motor Sport Foundation in 2009 as he embarks on his international career as part of the AMSF International Rising Star Program.

 

"It has been a goal of mine to be selected and represent the AMSF on the international stage, and I am very grateful for the opportunity," Erickson said. "I am looking forward to competing overseas and taking a step closer towards my ultimate goal of Formula 1."

 

Backed by Kevin Mills Racing, Erickson will start competing in the first round of the 2009 British Formula Ford Championship to be held on 11-13 April at Oulton Park.


As an MSF International Rising Star, Erickson will not only be supported financially but will also have access to a wide range of support services such as driver coaching, psychologists, physiologists and mentors in his quest to succeed on the international stage.
